what it says on the tin ! welcome to the new and improved links page now including site neighbours + other sites i frequent on neocities. Decided to ultimitally move everything to one page to avoid massive gif bloat on the main index page and also i can now include pages that i follow without them being mutuals.
for links and things i use on my site that aren't mine I try my best to bookmark those things when i'm using them so i can credit them later on. i've also linked other's sites resources and credits pages since i tend to use them often enough when looking for things i need so please check them out too! will try to update this as much as possible

CODING
- codepen.io : what i used to use to code when coding my site, it's an online code editor and includes a live preview whilst you're coding. However it's mostly used for sharing code snippets and you will need an account to save progress.
- phoenix code editor : now what i use to code my site ! also a site based code editor + includes a live preview ! admititly the preview is little broken and i get loads of crazy glitches from time to time now but unsure if thats just a firefox issue. also i think its somewhat similar to brackets in layout ? unsure though.
- dither me this : a site i use for dithering my images. recent update allows you to dither transparent images which is really helpful. also incudes premade dithering presets
- dither it : now my main site i use for dithering my images. both sites are similar when it comes to dithering images, i think this one has more options for different dithering types? also includes premade dithering presets and allows transparent images.
- ezgif : main gif site i've used for years now. also allows you to convert webp files to png,gif,ect.
- w3schools : LEARN HTML AND CSS HERE NOW !!!!!!!!!! probably one of the most important sites ever for people wanting to code their own site
- mdn web docs : mozilla's web resources for html,css, ect... , also useful for beginners wanting to learn how to code.
- sadgrl's html cheatsheet : i pretty much use this all the time, very helpful for when my brain is short circuting and i forget something (happens more often than you think....)
- sadgrl's snippets : code snippets sadgrl has avalible for anyone to use !
- scriped's site : many code snippets by different people in one place, currently under construction it seems though.
- lore ipsum : Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit.
- nekoweb : a newer site host made by dimdem, not as many social aspects as neocities if that's what you are looking for !
- status cafe : a site that lets you create.... statuses ! many seem to use it as a microblog of sorts
- file garden : file hosting service, i use this for temporary image hosting when coding since discord changed how they host image files. account needs to be created to be used
- catbox : also a file hosting service, no account needed but you can make one if you want to.

- deviantart : reccomened mostly for just stamps and emoticons.
- blinkie cafe : make your own blinkies here using set templates!
- betty's graphics : tons of different graphics
- background archive : what it says on the tin!
- spriters resource : actually my favourite website ever on the entire internet. massive database of sprite sheets ripped from videogames. the site also includes other ripped assets such as texures, 3d models and sfx from games too.
- pixel safari : site with many graphics ! similar to pixel bank.
- mirai-e-jump : tumblr blog with transparent pngs that she edit herself, now mainly hosting tokusatsu content - along side translations of toku material she owns , they're very fun to read through ♡ ! please do credit her if you use any of her stuff.
- creative uncut : a site that compiles all sorts of videogame art, mostly concept art ! they also credit the artists work that they compile !!
- FF dissidia graphics : graphics from FF dissidia OO (rip...), you can switch between the global and jp versions of the game for more graphics
- FF dissidia OO stickers : bigger collection of stickers from FF dissidia OO
- FFBE animated sprites : yep. pretty much what it says on the tin.

- aseprite : go-to program for making sprites.
- archive : second favourite site ever. massive internet library for archival purposes
- pop'n music world (archived) : retired pop'n music site that i got some of my graphics from at somepoint. WARNING : early versions of the site (around 2006) have extremely bright eyestraining colours.
- ffxiv collect : for ffxiv players, a useful site that has everything listed to collect. i mostly use it for looking at what mounts,minions and emotes there are alongside hairstyles to obtain
- eorzea collection : for ffxiv players, a massive database of all possible wearable items to obtain along side user submitted glamour sets ! user submitted glamour sets list what the player is wearing in the image & is very useful for finding inspiration if you don't know what kind of galmour you want your oc to wear!
- adobe color : specifically used for extracting colour pallettes but can also be used for finding inspiration for colours schemes. Im sure there are probably better sites to use for that stuff but i just really enjoy using the "mood extractor" when imporing a picture to colour pick.

- currently my backgrounds are from this transparent textures site !
- current about, shrines index and art pages have backgrounds from official ffxiv art or in game screenshots that were dithered through dither it
- any ffxiv on my pages is official art that can be found easily on creative uncut by searching up "FFXIV". FFXIV job sprites are just ripped from spriters resource.
- any yoshitaka amano final fantasy ffix art was found on the fandom wiki of all places and not on creative uncut... but im going to link antifandom instead here
- the garnet gif on my homepage i found was on glitter graphics but i've seen those ff animated pixel reposted quite alot on other sites (eg. gifcities) so ultimatly i am unsure who the original creator is.
- any edited graphics seen are by me made using photopea unless stated otherwise! talking about graphics, i used salvaged resources alot and imported the files into photopea (eg the patterns). I also used deviantart for finding gradient sets.
- bullet points are from deviantart - it's their offical bullet points the site uses in emoticons section.
- any small favicon gifs are from pixel safari
- all stamps were found on deviantart unless stated otherwise
- animated ffbe sprites can be found on ffbegif
- custom maplestory character can be made here - warning can be a bit broken on firefox,another browser is reccomended if your going to use it!
- pixel hanger / keychain thing can be found on animatedglittergraphics-n-more 's tumblr blog through tags like "blinkie chain", "kawaii pendant" or "floaties" sometimes.
- tool tip code from w3schools,used on my gallery page
- the flower background on gallery page is from the background archive & put the original image through dither me this.
- blade chibi in about page "tokusatsu" is from mirai-e-jump !!
